Entertainment & Events
RBC 2006 includes two unforgettable nights of entertainment and other stage events, including the Customer Focus session and the Second General session.
Opening Night Celebration
Did you know that sock-hops got their name back in the 1950s because high school principals made the kids take
off their shoes before a big dance in the gymnasium?
Well, you can keep them on for this party, but you’ll have
a hard time sitting tight as we bring back the classic music and dance of the rock ‘n’ roll decade that started it all. We’ll Twist, Stroll and Hand Jive the night away to the stylish sounds of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley and more as we ring in RBC 2006 – Vegas RoadTrip.
Our Opening Night Dinner and Celebration runs from
6 – 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25. Live music with our
1950s-style rock ‘n’ roll band will entertain as you enjoy
the great food, music and dancing.
So strap on those blue suede shoes and limber up for
a hearty helping of old-fashioned Americana and we’ll see you there. Just as “America’s Oldest Teenager” used to say, followed by his signature salute after every exciting episode of “American Bandstand”…
“For now, Dick Clark … so long.”
Final Night Gala
Cardinal Health is pleased to welcome Jay Leno as its featured entertainer
for RBC 2006 - Vegas RoadTrip. As host of the Emmy Award-winning and top-rated “The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Leno’s “everyman” style and personality have
helped him earn millions of fans worldwide, but primarily in the regions
where people can relate to his personable style and work ethic. He has been
touted as one of the nicest people in show business and the hardest-working—a winning tandem for the man who says “Anyone can have a life—careers
are hard to come by!” Leno has, for more than 10 years, created his own
unique late-night style with a combination of humor, talk and entertainment
each night as viewers tune in to wind down with a few laughs before drifting
off to dreamland.
