Hotel Accommodations

Reservation Period Begins: January 16, 2006
Reservation Period Ends: June 26, 2006

Exhibit representatives will arrange and pay for their own hotel accommodations. Cardinal Health has established an exhibitor room block at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. This block is specifically set aside to accommodate exhibit representatives during the RBC, but is limited, so make your reservations early. The hotel will accept reservations at Cardinal Health’s negotiated rate of $129 per night (plus tax) beginning January 16, 2006, and ending on June 26, 2006.

To make hotel reservations, call 1.800.929.1111 (option #1) and reference the Cardinal Health RBC or to make your reservations online, click here.

Important Note: Only registered exhibit representatives may utilize the Cardinal Health negotiated rate and room block at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. After June 26, 2006, the hotel rooming list will be compared with the list of RBC 2006 registered exhibitors and any reservation under a name that is not associated with a registered exhibit representative is subject to cancellation. Any guest whose reservation is subject to cancellation will be notified before any action is taken.

Exhibit Representative Registration

Registration Period Begins: March 6, 2006
Registration Period Ends: June 30, 2006

Each individual attending the RBC on behalf of an exhibiting company is considered an Exhibit Representative. The Marketing Agreement stipulates that two representatives per 10x10 booth are permitted to register at no additional cost, unless otherwise indicated on the agreement.

Additional Exhibit Representatives may be added at a cost of $600 per person.
Late Registrants may be assessed a $200 penalty fee.
A fee of $100 may be charged for name changes that are communicated after June 3, 2006.

Click here to register your Exhibit Representatives.

Trade Show Communication

The RBC 2006 Exhibitor Kit will be sent in early May 2006 to the individual indicated on the Marketing Agreement form. Only one Exhibitor Kit is sent per exhibiting company. The Exhibitor Kit contains booth assignments, show services forms, shipping instructions and a detailed agenda. It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor Kit recipient to communicate this information to the Exhibit Representatives associated with that booth.

RBC Attire

All RBC events are business casual.

RBC 2006 Theme

Do you remember the thrill and exhilaration of road trips that you took in your youth; your rag top down, the wind in your hair and your shades on? Well, get ready for the road trip of your life. At RBC 2006, we will get your business cruisin' as you experience the coolest cars from days past, carhops, roadside diners and sock-hop music all within the surroundings of the most desired road trip destination in the world—the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

We encourage all suppliers to take the show theme into consideration for booth design, marketing literature and giveaways. This provides RBC attendees with a consistent and memorable message surrounding the event. Everything from fun and quirky roadside stops, to all the sightseeing along the way, and all the wonderful cruise-in food will abound at RBC 2006.

RBC Participation Awards

Formerly the MVP Awards, the RBC Participation Award is presented to those exhibitors who partner with Cardinal Health to make the RBC experience a trip of a lifetime. Going beyond the standard requirements for RBC participation, these participants excel in pulling together special deals, promotions, catalogs, sponsorships and theme-oriented booth settings.

RBC Participation Award recipients are awarded a trophy, preferred booth location at RBC 2007, and additional prizes as provided by the respective program areas. For more details, contact your Cardinal Health representative.

Congratulations to the RBC 2005 winners:

Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel and Casino

Entering the MGM Grand, visitors are immersed in the glamour and excitement of sophisticated shows, gourmet dining, hip nightlife, a relaxing pool and spa, the wonders of an African Lion Habitat and much more.

This “city of entertainment” incorporates so much—from dining to resort amenities to megashows to sports events—that it approximates a big-budget film. Standing proudly at one of the busiest intersections in the world, directly across from the New York-New York hotel, this 5,034-room, $1 billion resort offers the maximum Vegas experience.

Hungry? You have multiple choices that include the pure flavor of Craftsteak, the fresh fish of Michael Mina’s Seablue Nobhill, the New Orlean’s flavor of Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, the nouveau cuisine of Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, the sophisticated tastes of Fiamma Trattoria and Pearl, or the exuberant fun of the Rainforest Cafe.

Living up to its nickname, the MGM Grand offers every type of show from the sensuous La Femme (direct from the Crazy Horse in Paris) to the creative tour de force of Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ . The MGM Grand Arena plays host to icons of rock ’n’ roll from the Rolling Stones to Sting as well as memorable championship fights. At night, famed nightclub Studio 54 and Vegas’ first ultra lounge, Tabú, beckon you to an evening of new experiences.

There’s much, much more to see and do at the MGM Grand, including indulging your body at the world-class spa, 6.6 acres of luxurious pools, rivers and waterfalls and the amazing cats at the Lion Habitat. Discover them all during RBC 2006.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Cardinal Health Retail Business Conference provides unique opportunities to present your company’s message to potential customers in the retail pharmacy arena. Sponsoring various activities and events at RBC 2006 is an excellent way to display your support for Cardinal Health, the Retail Business Conference and retail independent pharmacists!

Why should I be a sponsor?
If you’ve ever been to this outstanding event, then you already know the answer to this question. RBC 2006 is an event of world-class proportion. Every detail to every part of the conference is meticulously carried through with a level of professionalism unmatched in the industry. By participating as a sponsor, you are aligning your company with a name and event synonymous with unsurpassed quality, trendsetting technology, innovative profit-building retail programs and a relentless dedication to complete customer satisfaction. Plus, your message will be exposed to thousands of industry representatives and the country’s leading independent pharmacy operations. Finally, even long after the event is over, participants will remember their RBC experience and the sponsors that helped make it possible.

Final Night Gala — $75,000
As the RBC draws to a close, attendees and suppliers join together for a final night of food, fun and phenomenal entertainment. Your participation and sponsorship will make this an evening they will never forget. Sponsor’s name will be included in the RBC Program of Events and will be promoted during the Final Night Gala.

Opening Night Celebration — $75,000
Year after year, the Opening Night Celebration sets attendance records and exceeds the expectations of RBC participants. A jam-packed day of festivities—including the RBC Kickoff and the opening of the trade show floor—the RoadTrip will energize the thousands of RBC attendees and prepare them for an exciting and memorable event at one of the world’s best-known attractions. Sponsor’s name will be included in the RBC Program of Events and will be promoted during the Opening Night Celebration.

Conference Badges — $15,000
Conference badges are distributed to all RBC attendees. Badges identify RBC registrants and are required to enter the trade show, CE sessions or any other RBC event. This is the ideal promotional placement for you to reach every conference attendee! Your company name/logo will be printed on the badge provided to each attendee. Sponsor’s name will also appear in the RBC Program of Events.

Customer Focus Session/RBC Kickoff — $10,000
The Customer Focus Session officially opens the RBC. Sponsoring this session provides you with an opportunity to promote your company and show your support of independent retail pharmacists. Sponsor’s name will be included in the RBC Program of Events and will be promoted during the Customer Focus Session.

Registration Folders — $5,000
The first stop for RBC attendees is the registration area where participants are provided with a folder containing important details about the conference. Sponsor’s name will be featured prominently on the back of the folder that is given to each RBC participant.

Trade Show Lunch Buffets (6 sponsors) — $5,000
Your support of the noontime meal will be advertised to all RBC participants as they make their selections at the buffet stations. Cardinal Health doesn’t skimp on food and beverage. We recognize the importance of a square meal to ensure that RBC participants are energized, alert and ready to get down to business. Each sponsor’s name will be included in the RBC Program of Events and on table tents at each buffet station.

RBC Program of Events one-page, color advertisement — $4,000
Your company will be sure to get its message across with a one-page, color advertisement located in the Program of Events. One of the most useful pieces of printed material distributed at RBC, the Program of Events is a booklet containing the who, what, why, when and where information of the show. Sponsor will need to provide artwork for the ad. Sponsor’s name will also be included in the RBC Program of Events.

Continuing Education Sessions — $3,000
Providing informative and beneficial educational opportunities is an integral part of the RBC. Your support helps us to maintain the quality and variety of these sessions. Sponsor’s name will be included in the RBC Program of Events.

Camp Cardinal T-Shirts (3 sponsors) — $2,000
Kids participating in the family tours and activities program receive T-shirts to wear throughout their stay at RBC and in the years to come. As a sponsor of this well-loved program, your company name, along with two other sponsors, will be printed on the back of one of four T-shirts. Each sponsor’s name will also be included in the RBC Program of Events.

Trade Show Floor Refreshments (4 sponsors) — $2,000
Hours of walking around the trade show floor tends to cause hunger. Throughout the day, food and beverages will be provided for those who are in need of a quick afternoon snack. Everything the customer needs will be on the trade show floor. Each sponsor’s name will be displayed on tent cards in the refreshment areas and included in the RBC Program of Events.

Customer Promotional Mailing — $1,000
Because we recognize that our exhibitors want to reach customers with their message, marketing materials will be consolidated into a promotional packet that will be sent in RBC 2006-themed envelopes approximately two months before the event to all registered customers. Sponsors will be permitted to insert a one-sheet marketing piece into the promotional packet. This sponsorship must be secured no later than April 28, 2006. Quantities, shipping instructions and deadlines will be communicated to sponsors in early May. RBC show management maintains a policy which prohibits the distribution of RBC registrant contact information.

Other sponsorship opportunities may be available. Please contact your Cardinal Health representative or contact Michelle Coad, Event Manager, at 614.757.7396 or michelle.coad@cardinal.com for special sponsorship arrangements.
